We welcome applications from university students and graduates with strong academic backgrounds (preferably, 1:1 achieved) and a genuine ability to connect with younger learners. Our tutors tend to feel like “older siblings” — warm, insightful, and reliable.

Experience helps, but it’s not essential. If you’re thoughtful, clear, and good with people, we can help you get started. What matters most is that you care about helping students grow. We assess this on a case-by-case basis; we will discuss this more at interview.

We’re especially keen to hear from those who can teach English, Maths, and the Sciences — but also welcome tutors in Humanities, Classics, and entrance exam prep.

If you’re working in person, yes — we’ll need to see an Enhanced DBS certificate. For online-only tutors, we still follow a strict safeguarding process and vetting procedure.

Tutors are paid weekly via Wise, every Monday, for the previous week’s sessions. You’ll need to submit your completed hours by Saturday night.

We don’t guarantee hours — you’ll be matched with students when your profile, availability, and subject expertise align. We’ll schedule the first trial lesson for you, but after that, it’s over to you: you’ll liaise directly with the parent to arrange future lessons. This gives you the flexibility to fit tutoring around your schedule and makes it easier to build a rhythm that works for both sides. The more responsive and organised you are, the more likely we’ll send students your way.
