We work with students from Year 5 up to Year 13, across a wide range of subjects — including Maths, English, Sciences, Humanities, Languages, and university preparation.

How do you match a tutor to my child?

We take matching seriously. After a short call to understand your child’s needs, Arthur personally reviews who in the team will best fit — based on subject, style, age, and availability. We aim to make a great match within 2–4 days.

Can I speak to the tutor before the first lesson?

Yes, we’re happy to arrange a short introductory call or email exchange before the first session.

What happens if the tutor isn’t the right fit?

We’ll suggest an alternative immediately. There’s no charge for the trial lesson if you choose not to continue.

Are your tutors DBS-checked?

Accepted Answer

All tutors who work in person are required to hold a current Enhanced DBS check. For online tutors, a DBS may not always be legally required — but every tutor is carefully vetted and operates under our safeguarding policy, which includes strict conduct guidelines, training, and oversight. We take student safety extremely seriously, regardless of setting.
