Biology & Chemistry Tutor

Hi, I’m Esha — I studied Biochemistry at the University of Bristol and graduated with a First. I’ve been tutoring for over two years now.

My forté is in overseeing improvement in confidence and results in my tutees' GCSE results. I feel I've cracked the code to Biology & Chemistry GCSE revision and topic learning. I've been able to help students revise more effectively and, ultimately, help them feel more in control — and more at ease — in how they approach those crucial moments. I’d love to help do the same for your child.

I started out tutoring university-level Biochemistry students. Since then, I’ve focused on GCSE and Common Entrance support in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. What I’ve come to believe about tutoring is that, as much as tuition is about Biology or Chemistry (etc), it's about a relationship. It's about building a space to ask stupid questions and get a grip on something that's scaring you (those big scary exams!) And that's what I love about working as a tutor — and with Gravitas. When students feel seen, understood, and encouraged, that’s when the deeper problems can get addressed.

In addition to tutoring, I work in Revenue Management at British Airways — though sadly not in a lab coat, and definitely not the person to call about your cancelled flight. Tutoring keeps me grounded in science (pun semi-intended...) and is a part of my life that I really enjoy. I look forward to deepening my track record of success and to bringing some calmness, confidence and expertise to your child's learning.
